As an associate attorney at Herrig, Vogt, & Hensley, LLP, Taylor M. Gonsalves provides legal services in family law. Ms. Gonsalves is a native of the Sacramento area, growing up in Folsom, CA.  She graduated from the University of Arizona with a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Applied Humanities with a Fashion Studies Emphasis.

After college, Ms. Gonsalves returned to the Sacramento area and began working for the California State Assembly.  In the Assembly, she helped establish the Emergency Management Committee during the COVID-19 pandemic and served as the State House’s youngest Committee Secretary to date.  she also served as one of the youngest Communications Directors in the Assembly, under Assemblymember Freddie Rodriguez (D – Pomona).

Ms. Gonsalves earned her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA.  Through the first half of her law school studies, she continued her public service in the State Legislature before switching gears to the judicial branch. 

During law school, Ms. Gonsalves served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Gary Slossberg and Commissioner Michael Friel of El Dorado County Superior Court.  She then completed El Dorado County’s Mediation Training for family law and small claims matters, further igniting her passion for family law.

Ms. Gonsalves began working as a law clerk at Herrig, Vogt, & Hensley and has since transitioned to the role of associate attorney after being sworn into the State Bar of California.  Her service-oriented mindset and mediation background help her provide pragmatic, effective legal representation for her clients.
